Johnny Cash Ukulele Tutorial

In this ukulele video lesson I'll show you how to the train rhythm in the style of Johnny Cash.

The train rhythm is a bass - strum pattern, meaning you will alternate the bass notes between the root & 5th and strum the chords in between.

I find it best to have a uke with a low G, but I will show you how to play it with a high G as well.

Once you get this down on the G Major ukulele chord you can apply it to different chords.

In the intro of this video I play the G, C, and D chords.
