Johnny Cash's version of the song was released in 2002, as part of his album American IV: The Man Comes Around.
Most recently though, comicbook movie fans associate this super melancholy tune with 2017's Logan, starring the legendary Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart. And what a fitting tribute it is indeed to the 17-year cinematic journey of Jackman's Wolverine and Stewart's Professor Xavier.
Very lucky to have experienced all the feels and goosebumps that this movie had to offer in the cinema three times - there's nothing like it.
Shoutout to Bevy for requesting this cover!
