An early single from Johnny Cash which was recorded while he was still with Sun Records in the US. This is the UK release on London American HLS 8656.
Johnny's fourth single - a huge No.1 smash on the US country chart, crossing over to the mainstream where it reached No.11.
Sadly the record failed to have an impact in the UK, Johnny's first chart success not appearing here until 1965. (It Ain't Me Babe).
