Johnny Cash And I is an original track co-written by Dion Mifsud and Jonathan Bugeja. Dion wrote the lyrics whilst confined in London during the first COVID lockdown in 2020. When he eventually returned to Gibraltar he passed on the lyrics to a few musician friends to see what each came up with and this is the version that emerged at my end.
The tracks were recorded in home studio setups, being passed backwards and forwards online until it was finally completed.
Featuring Pepe Pou on fret-less bass and Chris Cavilla on Electric Guitars.
Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Keys and drum programming by J. Bugeja.
