Angel Band (Singers: Joan Baez, Jeffrey Shurtleff)
My latest sun is sinking fast, my race is nearly run
My strongest trials now are past, my triumph has begun
O come Angel Band, come and around me stand
Bear me away on your snowy wings to my immortal home
Bear me away on your snowy wings to my immortal home
I've almost gained my Heavenly home, my spirit softly sings
The Holy ones, behold they come, I hear the sound of wings
O come Angel Band, come and around me stand
Bear me away on your snowy wings to my immortal home
Bear me away on your snowy wings to my immortal home
Songwriter: Traditional song

Joan Baez wrote the following liner note comment about Jeffrey Shurtleff for his 1971 A&M album 'State Farm' - He has one of the most mellow and moving, not to mention simply beautiful male folk voices I've ever heard.
