Track 2 from their fifth album "Passin' Thru" released in 1972 copyright ABC Records. Before you turn out on this highway
Make sure it's where you want to go
Can't go back once you get on it
It's a never-endin' road, yeah
Said better think twice, make sure you're right
You're on a one-way street, a street called life
You're on a one-way street, a street called life
Shocker comin' up ahead now
Might get bumpy further on
But you got to keep on drivin'
Till you get where you belong
I said you better think twice, make sure you're right
You're on a one-way street, a street called life
You're on a one-way street, a street called life
Stop signs, red lights
Warnin's all down the road
Somehow it's no easier
Decidin' which way you got to go
So you better think twice, make sure you're right
You're on a one-way street, a street called life
You're on a one-way street, a street called life
You're on a one-way street, a street called life
You're on a one-way street, a street called life
You're on a one-way street, a street called life
