Jake Dunn and the Blackbirds are a powerful and energetic roots-psych-rock band originally from Pomeroy, Ohio. Their style sits at the intersection of a host of different genres (they sight Waylon Jennings, Tom Petty, and Lynyrd Skynyrd as some of their biggest musical inspirations.)

We at The Rambling House honestly can't get enough of these guys both musically and as humans. We love that they were willing to make the two-hour drive in order to participate in our Live from the Rambling House series.

Here they are closing out their livestream set with their original song, "Free" off of their 2019 album Cosmic Americans which blew our effing minds (as you might hear if you watch till the end of the video.)
