So close to gable end window install! I needed to prep my window rough openings AND I needed to add framing to them. I kind of measured wrong for my windows - ended up picking the harder of the two options, so framing the harder way had to be done.
This was a really awkward job, so I'm glad it's done. Being small definitely helped with this job! ????

We stay the night down at the main cabin and I indulge in a cold water dip. I had wanted to tackle a chore for the cabin while down there and also grab a couple of things that I will need/want for my cliff cabin before winter arrives (this part of the property isn't accessible by vehicle in winter).

My chipmunk friends (Johnny, Cash, and June are their names) visit me and I continue to feed them. Actually mostly just Johnny seems to visit me and crawl all over me - the other 2 are much more shy.

Hopefully in the next week or two I will get help from Steve to install these big windows, AND I hope to gawd they fit - cuz if they don't, I might cry!
