This haunting version of the classic song, Thunder Rolls by Garth Brooks includes the banned verse, what people also call the 3rd verse. Garth Brooks video for Thunder Rolls was banned from being played on MTV, VH1 and CMT. In this video from the Story Tellers show that appeared on VH1 in the early 90s, Garth explains that he was not the first person to record the song as well as explaining why the, we’ll call it the 3rd verse was not on the album No Fences but was on the video which would be later banned for content. Garth performs this song in it’s entirety during live concerts and it’s always a crowd favorite. This is one of my favorite versions of the song because it’s so intimate and personal. Garth is an amazing story teller. If you enjoy our video please like the video and subscribe to our channel.
