This week I am in Beaconsfield which has been around since the Saxon times. Built potentially because of it's strategic location between London and Oxford. This beautiful town hides a dark secret. With many sordid and dark tales here, from cut throat woods to whipping posts.
It's a place with highwaymen and robbers, affairs and death.

I am here to investigate one certain death. A vicar's wife who was supposedly slippered to death. ( a terminology for whipping) outside of the beautiful St Mary's and all saints church that stands majestically in the center of the town. A center for worship for over 900 years and even before that.

So, join me to find out if she really is still here and find out if ghosts really are real?
