This is a shaggy dog story; a long rambling story filled with arcane true facts that takes an interminable time to get to the punchline, which is usually an awful pun. But is it true? Well, most of it is, but the parts about Spiro Agnew having a twin brother and Harriet Akers being his mother is a complete porky. Still, there IS a moral in that punchline that I always liked: simple and honest is always a better course than convoluted and devious.
Featured Music:
Neil Young and Ry Cooder - "Emperor of Wyoming"
Willie Nelson - "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys"
