1. We Shall Be Free

Garth Brooks has never been afraid to take risks with his music and it lead to songs that put his feelings into messages for the world. "[Look] at something like ‘we shall be free’ – when we're free to love anyone we choose when this world's big enough for all different views,” shares the crooner. “When we're all free to worship from our own kind of pews, then we shall be free. So I think that's also what country music talks about.” Amen!

2. Friends in Low Places

And as his songs have become more and more popular, Garth Brooks still attributes it to each and every fan – never forgetting about his friends in low places. “People never think about it this way: [fans] travel a lot of miles to hear you sing,” says the legend. "They have made you, those guys have made you what you are, so you belong to them." And whether his crowd is five or 500,000, he performs for each person!

3. Garth Brooks on Being Two of a Kind with Trisha Yearwood

But Garth Brooks also says he owes it all to a very special woman – and she's taught him through the years how to be part of two of a kind.  "Yeah, we're two of a kind, working on a full house,” admits the megastar. “Once you find the right one, then it's the first time ever in life. The forever is not long enough.” He and country singer Trisha Yearwood have been married for over a decade and known each other even longer. “When she walks into the room, nobody gives a damn about Garth Brooks,” he quips. “It’s all about Tricia on the farm. My nickname is Mr. Yearwood. This is what they call me…If you've ever met her, she's the sweetest, most beautiful, the smartest, funniest person you've ever met." Um, we’re not crying – you’re crying!Feeling warm and fuzzy yet?!
