This unsold pilot was for a western anthology series. The sole story, "The Night Rider" (no relation), tells of the story of Johnny Laredo, a former outlaw who tries to change his ways between singing songs and shooting others in self-defense.

Laredo was played by none other than the legendary Johnny Cash. Singer Merle Travis plays a cowhand who joins in on the singing.

Did we mention there was a lot of singing?
