Before joining English National Ballet in 2016, Francesca trained at the High School Floria Capsali in Bucharest and competed in the Youth America Grand Prix in Paris, winning the silver medal. From there, she continued her studies at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. Her talent was soon spotted when she was cast as the Chosen One in Pina Bausch's Rite of Spring - a role which win her the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance in 2017 - and she has just been promoted to a junior soloist. In this film, she talks about her career to date and shares her aspirations for the future.
