With Kris Kristofferson having finally stood down from live performances last year, and having just celebrated his 86th birthday in retirement, he is undoubtedly receiving a barrage of congratulatory tributes from high places around the world … deserving praise for a song-writing icon – a true living legend.

Now it might not mean as much in the wider scheme of things, but I hope I represent the feelings of his fans, in putting together this humble “man in the street” tribute – a 40-minute video comprising a narrative opening, followed by home-made covers of a handful of his most popular songs.

No pretence here of emulating the man himself - nor of sounding remotely like any of the many famous artists who have covered his songs - but even so, I do hope you enjoy it … and please feel free to pass on your thanks to KK in the comments (he is most unlikely to ever see it, but it’s the thought that counts)!
