“For The Good Times” - Ray Price 1970

A classic country song by hall of fame performer Ray Price in it’s original key. About a year ago a friend at karaoke said he thought I should try singing this song. It was written by Kris Kristofferson and became a #1 country hit for Price. It also charted at #11 on Billboards pop singles chart. I’ll always remember the night I met him in East Texas. He walked walked out his RV/tour bus, said a quick hello to me/radio buddies - then walked up on stage and performed this and other songs in concert. This karaoke version already had piano in it so I just tried to duet a little with it. ????‍♂️
