In 1982 Johnny Cash hosted SNL. The musical guest was Elton John. In a funny turn of events they decided to swap clothes, making the whole appearance of both quite funny. At one point, Cash playfully wears a flamboyant feathered outfit and a rhinestone suit, poking fun at John's love for flashy style. And Elton John..well he dressed up in a Cash-inspired black cowboy hat and outfit. One of the few times in SNL history where two artists dressed up as each other.
