Bob Dylan's gone country?!

And he's got a weird new voice.

After finishing up John Wesley Harding, Bob took it easy for a while. When the writing bug hit him again, he went back to Nashville, surrounded himself with a crack band and churned out a brisk, under-30 minute country album.

It was a hit, and it helped knock down doors for other country artists in the notoriously conservative Nashville scene.
