This is a clip from my performance in Woodstock, NB, where I played Sunday Morning Coming Down by Kris Kristofferson. Songs like this are what classic country music is all about—raw, honest, and full of heart.

I recently saw a post from another country music artist saying that playing songs like this is just 'old guys beating old songs to death.' But to me, this is what real country western music is all about. It’s not just about the past—it’s about connection, truth, and storytelling.

Some of the new country music just doesn’t feel right to me, like it’s missing the heart that makes classic country music so powerful. That’s why I’m working on writing songs with the grit and soul that make country music timeless.
