Whey Jennings has announced his signing with Dirt Rock Empire, the label founded by country music duo The Lacs. Under his new label deal, Whey Jennings will release his new album "If It Wasn't For The Sinning" in early 2022.  Fueled by raw emotion and powerful experiences, Whey Jennings masterfully pulls from his own heartbreak, sorrow, and redemption when creating his music. 

"I'm excited to sign with Dirt Rock Empire and continue to build into 2022 and beyond," commented Whey Jennings. "I've had numerous labels come to the table in the past, but nothing ever felt like it was a proper fit for me. Dirt Rock Empire is a label founded by artists, so they immediately understood the music from a creative standpoint and wanted to help me build not just crunch numbers. I'm excited to get this new album out in early 2022 and hit the road."

When your grandfather is Waylon Jennings, one of the founding fathers of Outlaw Country, you have some pretty big shoes to fill and those shoes fit Whey Jennings perfectly. Whether on stage with his band or writing new songs, music flows through Whey's veins as undeniable as the line of country legends that have grown out of his family tree.

Whey Jennings aims to preserve the spirit of traditional country music while staying true to his own individual creativity. His music will resonate with listeners long after the final chord is struck as Jennings' music transports listeners back to a time when being a cowboy meant you worked hard, and often played even harder. Paying homage to the the core values and spirit of the original outlaw country, Whey Jennings is looking to pick up and carry the torch for the music his grandfather pioneered.
