Casper McWade and his HonkyTonk Rebels are no strangers to country music. Although from different diverse backgrounds this 5 piece band has always shared one common thread, The love of true homegrown country. These boys don't follow suit with the "Nashville" standard nor do they claim to be part of the "Red Dirt" scene. They simply put it out there the way it was meant to be done.

Vocals Guitar: Casper was introduced to country and Gospel music as a kid by his family. His mother and grandmother both were musically inclined being his mom a singer in a gospel group and the grandmother a songwriter. It was Bob Wills and Waylon Jennings who influenced him the most however regardless of the good upbringings associated with Gospel.

Percussion: Grant McCray grew up between Nashville and Oklahoma. His father is a Singer/Songwriter still today. Fiddler/Utility man

Fiddle: David Short "Shorty" has been on stage with such country greats as Willie Nelson, The Oak Ridge Boys and many more. He toured with David Allan Coe as his fiddler for awhile as well.

Lead Guitar: Aaron Failes spent his High School years in smokey clubs playing music for bikers, cowboys, and hippies. He has recorded with greats such as Dwight Twilley, Ron Flynt, Steve Allen, Tommy Keene, Steve Ripley, Roger Linn, Susan Cowsill, Casper McWade to name a few.

Bass: Kat Irons learned to play multiple instruments throughout school but it wasn't until 2010 when she picked up the electric bass was it that she found her instrument of choice. Originally from the Tulsa area you can find her hosting a jam or playing with local Tulsa bands. She can be heard on Sun Studio recording with Memphis Bound, Dwight Twilley, and Susan Cowsill. Kat received "Best Rhythm" award from the Blues Society of Tulsa in 2016.

2012 marked Casper's first Texas radio release "Long Way From Home" and has since been very well received. The band has been deemed a "Dancehall Favorite" in many areas around Texas and Oklahoma.

2019 has been a banner year with Casper having his song "Whiskey" picked up by friend Cody Jinks for the new album "The Wanting" which has been receiving critical praise entering the charts at #1.

With lyrical content that will have you ready to party your boots off or a sad tune that will have you wiping your eyes. Casper and the Honkytonk Rebels continue to win over audiences around the globe.
