My rendition of this song that was originally recorded by The Marshall Tucker Band in 1973. Jennings recorded his version between March 22 and April 21, 1976, co-produced by Jennings and Ken Mansfield. "Can't You See" was released as a single in July of that year, on the RCA Victor label, with B-side "I'll Go Back To Her", written by Jennings. It was the first single from his June 1976 RCA Victor album, Are You Ready For The Country. The single entered the Billboard Hot Country Singles top 40 on August 14, 1976 and charted for 11 weeks, peaking at number 4. "Can't You See" was Jennings' 39th top 40 country hit. It also went all the way to number 1 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart, and crossed over to the Billboard Hot 100 at number 97. On the Are You Ready For The Country album "Can't You See" was track 5 on side 1. Written by Toy Caldwell.
