A lovely tune from my childhood. Originally by Willie Nelson, covered by Brenda Lee but it was by British comedy duo Eric Morcambe and Ernie Wise where it resonates with me. Eric and Ernie were massive in the 70s, as a kid I used to love their wonderful style of comedy and hearing their version of this tune used to bring mixed emotions, i loved the song but i was sad the show was over.
I recorded this a few months ago and just came across it on my phone, so ladies and gentlemen here is my lockdown 2020 version of Bring Me Sunshine.
