WILDER, Ky. (WKRC) - A popular local honky-tonk wants Garth Brooks to stop in Northern Kentucky on his dive bar tour.
Bobby Mackey’s Music World, also known as America’s Honky-Tonk, in Wilder is making a pitch to the country music star.
Brooks announced Sunday he would set off on a seven-city tour of local dive bars this summer.
The tour coincides with the singer's new song, Dive Bar, with Blake Shelton.
The tour starts on July 15 in Chicago. That’s the day the song will start streaming on Amazon music and when the other six cities will be announced.
Bobby Mackey says his bar is the perfect spot for the tour and he’s feeling pretty good about their chances.
