The death has occurred of Toby Keith, a country musician who was famous for songs like "Red Solo Cup" and "Should Have Been a Cowboy,” among others. He was 62 years old.

According to a statement that was shared on social media by his family, the singer-songwriter "passed peacefully" on Monday night. As the fall of 2021 approached, Keith received the news that he had stomach cancer.

The announcement included the following: "Toby Keith passed away peacefully last night on February 5 while surrounded by his family." "He fought his battle with dignity and bravery," the judge said.
