Transport engineer Mark Philpotts, known online as the 'Ranty Highwayman' shares insights into designing for cycling and thinking 'Beyond the Bicycle' to ensure cycling is an attractive an accessible option for all types of rider and cycle.

We also share news and ideas from 'Spaces to Breathe', our campaign for more space for safe cycling and walking during the coronavirus pandemic. Mark gives advice on temporary measures which can be implemented quickly and Camcycle trustee Matthew Danish provides some examples of roads where improvements could be made.
