Best Mountain Biking in Sunshine Coast BC - Roberts Creek Black Trails

Today, I am upping the game and riding the best expert trails near Roberts Creek, BC. We will start with Mach Chicken, which is a fun, bermy, ripper with a few optional jumps along the way. It also has some gnarly, rooty sections so stay on your toes! This trail is a local's favourite! Then we will climb back up and ride in sequence: 2001 Trail, Pacheko Street and DNZ. 2001 and Pacheko have some sections of logging so there is debris that makes trail finding a slight challenge. These two trails also have some very cool, old school, wooden features: skinnies, bridges and log rolls. But check them out before riding, many are in disrepair and are a little sketchy. I rode the features that I felt safe riding, and they remind me of Vancouver's North Shore. Lower down, DNZ has some very cool gap jumps, where if you hit the first one, you have tuned in all the rest. Once again, fairly old school features with optional ride-arounds. All in all, these trails make for a challenging and exhilarating outing!

(I use the Hero 4 mostly because of it's better microphone but which is unfortunately not water resistant. But, I think it's about time for an upgrade! I'm thinking the Hero 9, probably due by the Autumn of 2020 will be just the sizable upgrade I'm looking for)
