Are MACARONS as hard to make as everyone says?
✨Recipe:
3 large Eggs Whites
1 ½ cup Almond Flour
½ cup Sugar
1 cup Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
¼ tsp Cream of Tartar
Directions:
1. Sift the powdered sugar and almond flour into a bowl.
2. In a medium sized bowl, whisk egg whites. Once beginning to foam, add in cream of tartar and gradually add sugar while mixing. Then add food coloring and vanilla, then mix until stiff peaks form.
3. Slowly fold in the dry ingredients. The mixture should be able to flow without breaking.
4. Add to a piping bag with a medium tip and pipe in 1 inch dollops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Tap the baking sheet against the counter several times to help release any air bubbles.
5. Let rest for about 45 minutes, then bake at 300°F for 12-15 minutes. Rotate tray after 7 minutes.
6. Let cool completely, then remove from tray, pipe in your buttercream, and assemble macarons. Serve and enjoy! ????
