This little video shows the traffic signal controlled junction of Middenweg and Kruislaan in Amsterdam.

Notable features are the little corner islands protecting people cycling; traffic signalling allowing drivers to turn across crossings (where people walking/ cycling retain priority) which simplifies the operational efficiency; a "pay attention" sign and some people not behaving!
