Today's true crime video is a first! We have an alleged crime. If not criminal, it's still super shady. From 2016 until 2019, "fake artists" were reported on Spotify's website. Music industry insiders speculated it was a scam in order to save Spotify money so they could pay musicians less.

Side note: why is it the first day I'm well enough to record is the loudest day of the week? You wouldn't believe all the sirens here.

Wishing you all the best sleep and to not get scammed!

If you like my work, consider buying me a ko-fi! https://ko-fi.com/viscariaasmr
I'd like to do things like sound-proof my room and improve my lighting, but equipment isn't free =) If you send me a ko-fi or two and want an oracle card reading of your own, I will make the video =)

Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a term used for an experience characterized by a tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine (although I often feel it in my legs!). It is most commonly triggered by specific acoustic or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control. I first experienced ASMR in elementary school art class. I'm still terrible at art, but I do love listening to people talking quietly about it.
