???????? Abiy Ahmed is an Ethiopian politician and the current Prime Minister of Ethiopia. He was born on August 15, 1976, in the town of Beshasha, located in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia.

Abiy Ahmed's early life was marked by his family's involvement in the military and his own service in the Ethiopian National Defense Force. In 2008, he joined the Ethiopian intelligence agency, where he rose through the ranks to become the director of the agency's cyber security division.

In 2010, Abiy Ahmed was elected to the House of People's Representatives, the lower house of Ethiopia's parliament. He quickly gained a reputation as a reformer and was appointed to several important positions, including the head of the Science and Technology Ministry and the Minister of Defense.

In 2018, following months of protests and political unrest in Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed was elected as the chairman of the ruling party, the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF).
