LOVE AT SUNDOWN (ยามเย็น)

For musical artists, King Bhumibol has always been our GREAT inspiration. With musical genius, His Majesty could played wide range of instruments so well and has composed 48 songs, all of which are truly beautiful.

"Love Sundown (ยามเย็น)" is the 2nd song H.M. has composed, thus the 1st to be released to the audience. It was the introductory piece that made the Thai people feel delighted once this song was performed for the first time back in May 1946.

Art Thomya has followed the traces of King Bhumibol, the Great King of Thailand who has spend 18 years studying and living in LAUSANNE, from 1933-1951. The footages for this song were filmed in Montreux and Vevey, two charming towns by Lake Geneva (next to Lausanne) which gave inspiration to King Bhumibol for music. Montruex is a host town for the world's 2nd largest Jazz Festival, held every year in summer. Freddie Mercury, Queen's lead singer, spent his late years here. Also, Vevey is where Charlie Chaplin, a legendary comedian, spent the last years of his life in.

This music video was created in loving remembrance of King Bhumibol Adulyadej who passed away on 13 October 2016 after having dedicated H.M.'s entire life for the development of the country for 70 years. King Bhumibol will be forever on our minds.
